Rio Royal Blue Steel MGN 36, 12 Gauge 3" 1 1/4oz 1400FPS Max DRAM

Rio has been available to the US market since 2002 providing American Sportsmen and Women with high quality affordable shotgun cartridges in various gauges and for various activities.

Rio's parent company MAXAM is a global leader in the explosives industry and supplies munitions to civil, military, and sporting markets in more than sixty countries. In June 2015 Rio opened a start-of-the-art 105,000 square foot North American facility in Marshall, Texas assembling a wide range of hunting and target loads for the North American market.

Rio Royal BlueSteel is loaded with perfectly spherical steel shot for use where regulations call for lead-free shotshells. It's ballistically engineered to retain energy down range and generates less pressure, a more consistent pattern and better efficiency than competing brands.

All that and more.

It's hard to believe something so affordable actually does everything that's promised. They burn clean, cycle well and hold a tight pattern. I bought a case of these after seeing a friend of mine slaying geese in the early season and am well satis...

Awesome performance

Used in Mississippi this weekend. First time using Rio steel and I am beyond impressed. Doesn't leave your gun dirty, performed in extreme dampness, and frigid cold when some of the big name duck loads did not. I'm forever hooked on these.

Bought 2 boxes to try an alternative to some higher price loads. Great knock down power with very few cripples. Rio Blue steel are the best on the market for reliability and value. Going to be the only loads in my blind bag from now on.

Best out yet for price and quality

We have been shooting these shells since last year, it's the best for waterfowl hunting. They are clean shots and very powerful. For the quality and price point, no other brand or model can't beat that. I wish it was dark green instead of blue,...

BlueSteel Awesomeness

After looking for a more affordable waterfowl load, looked at all the positive reviews and decided to jump ship from Winchester and purchased a case. Extremely pleased with the performance, pattern and knockdown power..Can’t beat the price

Bought 6 cases so for with little to no hiccups.

After extensive pattern testing and wing shooting I have come to the conclusion that this load is unbeatable in my Winchester SX3 and my Benelli Nova. Some of the crimes are a little deep but overall very good quality. I used to shoot Federal ...

Excellent product

Excellent product! Cycles through my gun well. Clean burning, and great knockdown power.

What a deal!!!Great ammo at an awesome price. I know that it will sure ad to the bag while goose hunting! Rio ammo rocks!!!!!

Great value

Bought 500 rounds of rio and it patterns great and cycles just fine in my sx3 and sx4.

Oh yeah these shells are sweet!

I switched to these shells last season after watching a friend crush geese with them. They hold a nice pattern, cycle well and burn clean with a price point that won't make you cringe every time you go through a case. Hoping that Rogers gives us the Rio Bismuth option soon for those of us with older guns that have fixed chokes. Try these and they may become your new go-to shell!

Rio Rocks!

Shoot great out of my SBE3. Awesome pattern.
